When Jordyn and Christian first matched on a dating app, they probably weren't expecting to end up here—engaged, planning a wedding, and letting me follow them around Downtown Sarasota with a camera for an evening.
Luckily for all of us, they swiped right!
We spent the evening exploring some of Sarasota's most iconic spots, from the glowing marquee lights of Florida Studio Theatre to the charming streets and architecture that gave this session its timeless, old-Hollywood feel. Between dodging traffic for a few street-crossing photos, trying not to attract too much attention from curious restaurant guests, and chasing the last bit of golden light, we managed to create some magic along the way.
One of my favorite things about Jordyn and Christian is how easy they are together. They can go from laughing at an inside joke to looking like they just stepped out of a magazine editorial in a matter of seconds. Their connection is effortless, genuine, and the kind that makes my job incredibly easy.
These two brought all the style, all the chemistry, and just enough patience to tolerate my constant "Okay, one more!" (which photographers everywhere know is never actually one more).
If this engagement session is any indication, their wedding day is going to be absolutely unforgettable. I can't wait to celebrate these two as they begin their next chapter together.
